Ah, right you are.

Actually, I have three Java Runtime Enviroments installed. I have Sun
Microsystems 1.5.0_08, Blackdown Java-Linux Team 1.4.2-02, and Free
Software Foundation 1.4.2.

The one that was checked in Tools > Options > Java was the Sun JRE. I
installed Sun a long time ago because I have a Syntax tree program that
I need for linguistics work and it requires Sun. After reading what you
said I checked Blackdown instead and restarted OOo. Afterwards all the
wizards are working except the Web wizard. That one crashes OOo
completely. :(

Oh well. I don't need the web wizard anyway. As long as I know the
failure of the wizards to work is just because it doesn't like my Java
I won't worry about it.

However, I have also discovered that I am unable to connect to a
database that was created in OOo 2.0.2. I know connections to Base
require Java, so I guess I am going to have to figure out what Java OOo
2.0.4 / Linux expects.
