Would it be very inconvenient to set up two different accounts, one for you and one for your wife? My wife and I have this arrangement because she likes, for example, IE as her default browser whereas I prefer Firefox. It also means that our e-mails & address books don't interfere with each other - I don't see hers and she doesn't see mine.
