S&J Fraser:

This file may exist on your system, but I suspect it does not. I would suggest
visiting the Issue
Tracker at http://qa.openoffice.org/issue_handling/pre_submission.html and
submitting a bug
report for both the document issue AND the off screen buttons problem.

>Greetings from New Zealand. OpenOffice 2.0 has created a file
>'Untitled1' on our PC. Any attempt to open the program brings up the
>file recovery screen which appears without report or recover click
>boxes, as though they are off screen at the bottom of the page. The page
>cannot be shortened or moved to verify this. This page can only be
>closed with control-alt-delete, rendering the Office unusable. Have
>uninstalled, removed all visible trace, and reinstalled. Have also
>checked registry with 'find' for reference. The file or some vestige
>remains hidden on the machine and resists discovery or removal. Any
>ideas welcome as we really like OO.org and wish to retain W98SE as our
>operating system without the holes in the native applications. OO.org
>has been the weapon of choice right up until 'Untitled1' came along.
>Regards, S & J Fraser.
