Please folks remember: Be not offensive. Be not easily offended. If you find something offensive, take it off the list and BE POLITE! Let the original poster what you find offensive and WHY. Try to be nice. If you find posts from a certain poster offensive/immature you have the right to not read them and even filter them for immediate deletion. However, you might miss a really important posting by doing this. And some mailers actually can remove anything with two dashes and a space after it because that was used in the days of USENET/FidoNET to mark the beginning of a signature. Also, as a reminder, signatures should be kept as small as possible, no more than three or four lines (you can send a very powerful message in that little space) and should NEVER be larger than your original message (if you send a one-liner, then keep your signature to one line, please.) Enough on this subject, lets get back to supporting OpenOffice.org. See my next post on OpenOffice.org on the Mac. James McKenzie
Agree with James. Ideally, the signatures posted to a list like ours would either be empty (i e, deleted by the poster) or contain a brief notice as to where the poster can be found. No advocacy ! But of course, this is not an ideal world. Let's get back to helping folks with OO.o-related problems.... Henri
