The only real difficulty I have found is trying to type on a mac with a Windows keyboard through VNC (don't ask). It is true that, eg English keyboards don't have the specialised Swedish letters (nor the paragraph symbol) so you can't do that dead-key accent trick. But you can always change the keyboard layout in software, certainly under KDE and Windows so that either keyboard mimics the other. All this is easly enough tested with a live cd from knoppix or similar, which will run linux veeeeery slowly without disturbing your windows intallation at all. -- Andrew Brown The email in the header does not work very well.
