I can't quite work out whether this is the original enquiry or what it is.
Allegedly, some Lotus files can be imported to OOo. There is a list of filters here: http://wiki.services.openoffice.org/wiki/Framework/Article/Filter/FilterList_OOo_2_1 >From the accounts I've seen, you will have to export from Lotus to M$ file types before OOo will import your files. (Ugh.) Spreadsheets may present you with quite a number of challenges as you may find that a lot of formulas need to be recomposed. Calc and Writer are particularly clumsy and buggy after using Lotus. I think you could continue to use Lotus more happily for quite a few years. The only drawback is that you are using file types that only Lotus software and, perhaps, MicroSloppy software can read.
