Hi, It's and amd processor (It's fairly fast, I'd say it probably equivalent to a P3 700MHz). I don't remember exactly how much ram it has but I do remember thinking it was decent when I looked this up. I'd say anywhere between 128 to 256 MB. I can also infer this from the fact that it loads the OS and other memory intensive applications very quickly. I suspect that the windows apps would run faster since the code is native to the machine but I don't think that the overhead from the Java VM would account for it hanging (especially this long).
