a) You don't need to register; just click "already registered" the next time
you are asked.

b) It is entirely legal to use OpenOffice, completely free of charge, on as
many computers as you like for whatever purposes you wish (business,
personal, educational etc.). By all means encourage your friends,
colleagues, relatives etc. to use it too. If you like you can have a lawyer
check this by reading the licence at http://www.openoffice.org/license.html
