Dear Sir
I've recently downloaded Open Office to my new computer running the
Vista Premium OS. All my text files previously created in Microdoft
Word 2000 have loaded in and are accessable in Open Office. My
spreadsheets however, created in Microsoft Works Suite 2000 have not,
and only open with a line of unintelligible text.
I've searched the help pages but am unable to find an answer. Can you
advise me please.

From what I gather, not many things read M$ Works files, including
Micro$oft Office.
They would need to be saved as RTF or someother format.
