My computer is always up to date. I am on automatic updates. also I check
for updates once a week. I checked anyway and everything is up to date. I
have not tried to create a PPT, because I am not interested in that. I only
got your program so I could view powerpoint programs that I get in email.

Sometimes this can be because the video driver you have is out of date.
Can you please make sure that you have the latest updates.
Also can you create a PPT and run it using OpenOffice.org ?
