I'm not sure I understand. There is no limitation on the number of numbers that can be summed in a column. If I have a column of numbers from, let's say, cells A1 through A1000, I could go to cell B1 and enter the following formula: =SUM(A1:A1000) and the formula would return the sum of the 1000 numbers.
