OpenOffice is an office suite only and does not include an email
program or web browser.
I would recommend Opera from www.opera.com as an excellent browser
with email built-in.
If you would like to use OpenSource software, which is encouraged,
then Firefox <www.firefox.com> is a very capable and well supported
web-browser with Thunderbird as it email client <http://
www.mozilla.com/en-US/thunderbird/>
