Let's see whether I understand you correctly.
You have a table in Writer, and wish to see the borders, and separators
between rows and columns when you print.

In Writer, these things are an attribute of the table, not of the printing
process. Position the cursor in the table, right click -> Table and then look under the Borders tab. There you will find lots of different options on how
you want the table to look, and this will show in both the display and the
printed output. If these are all blanked out, then the display still shows a light grey outline to show where the table is. To see all inner lines, select the fourth diagram in the top left of the dialog box, but if you hover with
the mouse over the diagram it will tell you what it means.
