No you do not have to do so. You can if you want to do so. On
another one of my computers I have 1.1.4 and 2.1.0 both installed.
The latter automatically installs in another folder from 1.1.4.
If you are not going to use 1.1.4, you could uninstall it to give
you more disk space for something else. However, if you do this, do
not delete the folders which are left after the uninstall. These
contain the personal settings you created for 1.1.4.
Install 2.0 or 2.1 (present version) before deleting these
folders for 1.1.4. It should find these folders and ask if you want
to keep the same settings as you had for 1.1.4. You should answer
yes. After installing 2.0 (2.1), delete all the folders and their
files that refer to 1.1.4.
