In the help files for SQL Commands it says:

Well, I couldn't find one there.
It further says:
"Not all database types support all SQL instructions. If
necessary, find out which SQL commands are supported by your
database system."
I have tried the website but, as usual, simply cannot find my way
around it. So can some kind person advise me as to where I can get
this information please.

http://hsqldb.org/web/hsqlDocsFrame.html is the address of the
Hsqldb User Guide. This is the engine use by Base. Chapter 9 is
probably the one you are looking for, but chapter 8 may also have
some valuable information in it as well.

Many Thanks, Dan.
The information has sort of given me leads as to where I am going , however,
it does lead me to other questions. One of the things I would like to do on
a regular basis with one of my tables to delete all the data where the prime
key is >0.
I appreciate that I can copy/paste without the data and entering row 0 again
would not be a problem but it seems to be very messy when there is such a
keyword called DELETE. From reading all the information it would seem that
this is not implemented in Base, or if so I cannot find it.
Without installing hsqldb is there any way round this and/or do you know if
there is a realistic chance of an extension in the next update of OOo.
Thanks again,
Ron Ferguson
