I am using v2.1, in Windows XP

In Writer, I have a numbered list which goes 1-14. In the default, the number itself formats left to right, so that the tens digit of numbers 10-14 is in the same column as the unit digits 1-9 and effectively this means that the numbers get closer to the text. I would like to get it so that the tens digit indents one character to the left so that the space between number and text is constant and the text is in line.

In Bullets options>Position, I have tried setting the numbering alignment to right, but this then removes any space between the number and the text. If I increase the the Minimum space numbering<>text the problem comes back - the tens digit aligns with the units digits, but in addition the text then gets ragged in its left-alignment.

Apart from using a table, is there any way round this?
