   Perhaps this is because you accidentally used the wrong
application. Draw is to be used to create graphics. Impress is the
application to use for creating slide shows.
   May I suggest you download the Getting Started with Impress
chapter of the Getting Started Guide. It is available at
http://documentation.openoffice.org/manuals/oooauthors2/.
    If you use the Default Master Page and Default Layout, you may be
able to copy the content of your five slides directly into five
slides of Impress. Then to view them you could use one of two
shortcut keys: F5 or F9 to start the slide show.
