You can't flip text as such, but if you attach your caption externally with, for example a graphics program such as the GIMP, or Paint Shop Pro, before inserting your picture into the frame then that would work. An alternative would be to use the Draw Text tool (View > Toolbars > Drawing) to insert a text object into the frame. You could then select this text object and rotate it by 180 degrees. Et voila!
