I just checked my system. Sunbird occupies just over 29 MB. I'm running
with 1 gig and I've never had substantial delays of the type you mention
-- even when I was running with 512 MB. However, you may be using
Sunbird more intensively than I am. Also, are you using version 0.3.1?
