Could not find answer in your FAQ; I do *not* want to download the whole, huge file but WOULD like ONLY the wordprocessor part; possible?
It is not possible. Since OOo is an integrated office suite any space saving in just downloading the writer part would be around 10%.
You can, at time of installation, decide not to install any other component, but this is not recommended since it will make using writer tricky. If downloading is a problem you can use the CDROM distribution page (http://distribution.openoffice.org/cdrom/index.html#cdrom) for vendors that can supply a CD with OOo on it.. /paul -- Vista is "dramatically more secure than any other operating system released" Bill Gates Huh ??
