Using Writer,
when navigating the mouse cursor across a line of text in a cell with the
right button held down,
how can I make the cursor stop automatically after the after the last
character and not jump to the next cell?

Not too sure how you would click + hold and drag with the right mouse
button. However if your using the left (for highlighting), then if you
stop within the same cell, the highlighted portion won't continue
outside the table cell.

Also when tabbing, how do I get the whole content of a cell highlighted for
text formatting or deletion?

I don't believe that you can. I know in MS Word this annoyance exists
and the number of times that I've tabbed off a cell into another, just
to add something to the end of the new cell to find that I've
overwritten everything... man.... I'm glad that OOo does not do it
that way, but that's just my preference.

I don't believe you can change this behavior in OOo.

Huh ?? Defender doesn't stop spyware (Webroot) ; firewall is only 50%
effective (Zdnet) ; UAC can be turned off and is annoying ; SP1 (incl
security reasons) due end of 2007...
