I installed Open Office on Mac OS X and its created the shortcut. But when I run Open Office it always starts in Writer. Is there anyway of creating shorcuts to each individual application? Thanks for any help James
Hello James, Indeed, OpenOffice.org on Mac always opens with Writer . The other components are only two moves away: File > New offers a droplist of all the components, Writer, Calc, Impress, etc. You can also control-click (or right-click) on e.g. a xls file and indicate you want to open it with OOo (Calc) HTH -- Guy using dutch OOo 2.2 RC 2 on a iMac Intel DualCore Tiger and dutch OOo 2.2 RC 2 on a G4 PPC Powerbook Tiger -- please reply only to [email protected] -- Dodoes can't afford to have headaches
