Evidently, it is only in Linux (or should I say, not in Windows?) that you
need to search for .*  One subscriber mentioned that simply searching for
the point works.  Another user (on the forum) searches for .+  These are all
workarounds required because search on Linux (?et al?) cannot find a leading
apostrophe - it will find and replace the same character elsewhere in a
string.  The workaround/s is/are now being touted as a feature.
