I am a user of OpenOffice 2.1. My problem relates to a document Headers issue
when using OpenOffice Writer.

If can create a document with Headers turned on using OOo Writer and the header
information I type in is clearly visible in the document. I then save that
document in MS Word format. But when I re-open the document using OOo Writer,
the header field is no longer visible and I can't seem to find a way to make it
reappear in my document. If, however, I re-open that very same document using
MS Word, the header information is present.

Why is it that Writer doesn't display header information for documents it saves
in MS Word format? Obviously the header information is still present (not lost
during the save) if the header information appears intact when re-opened using
Word.

I create a lot of word processing documents for clients as an IT Consultant. I
prefer to use OOo, but need to save documents in Word format to send to
clients. I can't do this if it means I will always lose the header information.

Please advise. Many thanks.
