What kind of Works-file is you talking about? A spreadsheet-file, a
wordprocessing-file ??
You can save the *.wps och *.wks files as *.doc and *.xls, ( I asume you
know that *.wps is a word-like fileformat and *.wks is a excel-like
fileformat).
After this there should be no problems to open your "works"-files
(happily saved to a format that OOo can handle) with OpenOffice.
If you do some changes to these files and want to open them in Works
again, /*just remeber*/ to save these files in a *.doc or *.xls-format,
I mean save the files as an Word or Excel-file in OOo. In this way, you
can open your files in Works again.
