I run Ubuntu (Dapper & Feisty) linux on as low as 300MHZ/256MB & it
works just fine. Of course you have to expect some start up delays due
to the nature of the hardware, but it's quite acceptable once OOo starts
up. On the other hand, if you try that on the same machine using Windows
2000 Professional you might as well go get a cup of coffee waiting for
it to boot and open OOo...
