spadmin The executable should be in the same place as the rest of the soffice programs (in fact on my machine it is a symlink to soffice) The bottom of the dialog box has a Fonts button for managing (adding, deleting, renaming) fonts.

Hi Sven

please tell me how I can install new fonts (from a CD) in the Writer? In which directory I have to copy them?

You don't install fonts into Writer, you install them into Windows.

You can do that by right-clicking the font and selecting install, or you can do it manually by copying the font in the the c:/Windows/Fonts folder.
