Hi Roger,

I have no idea if this suggestion will help or not, but I have noticed quite a 
few CPU related posts on the mozilla.com Firefox forum. It may be worth 
checking them out. I haven't experienced the problem so I haven't checked the 
posts.

Have you considered testing Internet Explorer and/or Outlook Express in 
conjunction with OpenOffice.org 2.1 to see if that eliminates your problem.

You did say you were looking at migrating MS Office users and you are running 
on Windows XP Home.

I hope this suggestion helps to further identify the source of the issue.
