I finally went ito the installation folder and unzipped the compressed
files manuallly. Then, I found a file that booted the program.
Thanks, I took me more than 8 hours to solve the puzzle.

Have you looked in Start > All programs for OpenOffice.org? It is
probably a folder with the individual applications listed within that
folder.
