Sorry to say so, but as far as I know, OpenOffice.org can't read
Appleworks (or iWork/Pages/Keynote files for that matter). All these Apple
programs are a bit of a dead end since they can only be read by Apple.
Appleworks files will have to be saved in another format (txt, rtf, doc)
that can be read by OpenOffice.org. I think even MacLinkPlus doesn't offer
a solution to go directly from AW to OOo... I have googled around a bit, but
didn't find a direct solution.
