I really don't recognize that situation. My macros are always where I put them, I don't even have to save anything else than the document itself. And all my buttons with macros assigned to them works everytime I open the document. Maybe something is wrong with your installation? Or maybe I just misundestood everything you wrote…

but the thing is they've put a structure on the tools-macro-record/run macro section where you can see your current document (library) and the macros (modules) that it contains. after saving such modules on my the current library you can see it that it's right there itemized with names ... and when you assign a keyboard shortcut it runs. but...after closing and saving the document. if you try to run the macros again with the assigned shortcuts it won't run. and if you try to see the saved modules on the tool-macro-run macros menu--- my document's name (library) is there but where are my macros(modules) they' re gone it's like i never saved at all... what's the use of saving macros again and again if you can't see them after you close your document??? how would you explain that??? why can't they make it easier in such a way that you see the macros in the same way that you recorded and saved it??? it's that simple!!! i think any user can follow these simple steps. in the first place the macros dialog was structured to look like "easy to use" but in reality it never was or never did... this is what i've experienced so far --------------------------------- It's here!
