To elaborate further, there is also File >Versions.  For an interesting
insight into the effectiveness of the so-called crash "recovery" tool see
http://www.oooforum.org/forum/viewtopic.phtml?t=44960  .  As a result of
that and other posts, and my own experience, I always start now with the
-norestore parameter.
