Hi,
Also make sure that the icon on the toolbar at the top with ABC and a
wavy red line under it is pressed.
Then make sure your settings in Tools -> Options -> Language Settings
all look right.

Hello ,
I am using version 2.1 of OpenOffice.org. My problem is : I have
been recently downloaded open office for my Mac OS and have been
trying to get the dictionary to work properly, you do a test type
and it fails to pick up any of my spelling errors, it just states
spell check is complete. I tried playing around with the tool
options and was unsuccessful.
Would it be possible to provide me with some instructions to get
the spell check to work in english, in doing so underline errors.
Thanks and regards
Tom
Hi Tom,
I'm the creator and maintainer of the Australian English dictionary

You may wish to try the instructions on the following site which

As I don't have access to a Mac machine, any feedback you have for
Mac users would be appreciated.
