Guy, Thanks for the info. I've got a similar setup to you, OS X Tiger 10.4.9; Intel Core 2 Duo Mac, X11 1.1.3. The laptop's only a month old, but I've updated all the software. I AM using OO.o 2.1 though. I just downloaded 2.2 today. When I dl'd 2.1 for the Mac, I TRIED to dl 2.2rc4, but the P2P page didn 't show a Mac version. I've usually used the RCs on my Windows laptop. <snip>
Hello Kojo I download the RC's from good-day: ftp://ooopackages.good-day.net/pub/OpenOffice.org/MacOSX/2.2.0rc4_20070323/ see also http://porting.openoffice.org/mac/download/OtherDownload.html (although the name of the latest development build hasn't been adapted in the text here) The stable versions for Mac Intel are now listed on this Mac porting page: http://porting.openoffice.org/mac/download/x11-104-Intel.html only the english and german version of 2.2 are as yet OK.
