I have OO2.1 on fc6, LANG="en_US.UTF-8" I have a .doc file from email attachment. The file has parentheses with the Euro sign (€ 1950.-) visible in display. When printed, the left hand parenthesis is all that prints, followed by a three inch gap and a period. Replacing the Euro symbol with "euro" allows printing of both euro and 1950 Could the Euro symbol be interpreted as a printer command or OO internal symbol? TIA rfjones
