Hi, I have just downloaded Openoffice 2.1 from a CD which came with the March issue of PC Authority. When I try to check for updates it tries to connect but won't. My notice indicates 'Could not establish an internet connection to update.services.openoffice.org.' Can you assist? Many thanks BM
Hello The automatic online update doesn't seem to function always as planned... You can disable this option in Tools > Options > OpenOffice.org > Online update. You can always check 'manually' for updates at the www.openoffice.orgwebsite.
