I am using OOo2.2 on XP. With the previous versions I have created
numerous forms from the list tables using both the right click on
the list name and the Create Form Wizard methods without any
problems.

Since installing version 2.2 the forms are not working: 1) the
autofield (in my case field 1 and primary) is no longer auto filled
and 2) when tabbing at the end to move to the next row nothing
happens.

It might be that I have forgotten to do something, if so I cannot
think what, so would somebody be good enough to check this for me
on their system as I now find this facility unusable.

Could you send me a simple database with this problem off list? I
have not problems of this type on the Linux version.

Dan

Hi Dan,

Many thanks for the offer. I was going to do this, so I created a
completely new database and constructed a form. It worked! So it's
now back to my major database with 11 Lists, 11 Forms plus Queries
and Reports to find out what has been causing the problem for the
past two days!!
I will let you know the answer when I find it!

Hi Dan,

What seems to have happened is that although when checking the form before saving the form was linked to its list/table after saving then opening, it no longer was. In edit mode I clicked a few things which I though might "jump start it" and after saving and opening it worked.

I subsequently created a new form attached to another list and that also worked fine. Previously I had tried to create forms attached to various lists and none worked. It would seem, therefore, that something has changed but I am afraid that what and how I do not know precisely.

If it happens again I will only click one thing at a time and check each!
