Thanks Paul, As I have not used it yet, do I have an option to save a word document I created in Open office to a .doc file that word will then recognize?
Word documents (ie, ending in .doc) created in OpenOffice will be able to be opened by MS Office products - no worries. There are still some small compatibility issues (since MS formats are secret) but unless the document is complex with alot of formatting it will look exactly the same. /paul -- Vista is "dramatically more secure than any other operating system released" Bill Gates Huh ?? Defender doesn't stop spyware (Webroot) ; firewall is only 50% effective (Zdnet) ; UAC can be turned off and is annoying ; SP1 (incl security reasons) due end of 2007... ----- Try Torpark; a small portable, open-source, built on Firefox browser that enables anonymous browsing.
