I had no problem opening it in Calc. However, I disabled the
macros since I do not know who created them nor what they might
contain.
Therein lies the problem. Excel uses VBA for macros while Calc
uses Star Basic. IF the macros are rewritten in Star Basic, they will
probably run in Calc like they did in Excel.
