As you have an au internet address I am assuming you have selected
Australian English as your dictionary. For spellcheck to work you can
only use the dictionaries that are loaded, indicated by a tick against it.
You can either select UK English which should have been loaded (and
ticked) by default or :-
look in Tools -> Options -> Language Settings
If you don't have English Australia listed (and ticked) there then try
File -> Wizards -> Install new dictionaries
or:-the latest Australian English dictionary files are available from
www.JustLocal.com.au <http://www.justlocal.com.au/>. Scroll to the
bottom of the page and click on the OpenOffice.org logo.
I have cut and pasted parts of answers to this problem from other
contributers to save my typing time, so I am just supplying information
that has been supplied before.
