Could someone confirm if the Spanish dictionary for Cuba works with OOo 2.2 ? I
can install it through the wizard but it's not recognized by OOo, the
dictionary.lst file is fine, the entry for es CU is there but no way to make it
appear in OOo.

I'm not sure, whether OOo is recognizing it as installed language
module. Usually the way is:
Archivo -> Asistentes -> Instalar diccionarios nuevos (desde el web)
The new window shows DicOOo -> check 'Español' ->
click 'Ejecutar DicOOo' ... 'Recuperar la lista'
In 'Diccionarios de Ortografia' you may select 'Spanish (Cuba)';
also in 'Diccionarios de separación por sílabas';
in 'Diccionarios de sinónimos' you'll find 'Spanish (Spain)'
The wizard installs all in ...share/dict/ooo and completes dictionary.lst.
After having restarted OOo you may make your settings in
Herramientas|Opciones|Configuración de idioma ...
In Lingüística|Módulos disponibles de idioma -> Editar
please look, whether your selected modules are activated [X]...
En el fichero dictionarry.lst, con el editor de texto -Bloc de nota-
escribi ( es CU es_CU). Algo no estoy haciendo lo correcto esta vez.

-> DICT es CU es_CU would be the correct entry for spell checking ...
(HYPH and THES are the entry types for Hyphenation and Thesaurus)
Puede orientarme en solucionarme en el problema.
