Look at the license file on the CD you purchased from eBay. It
will tell you that you can install it on as many computers as you
desire. The license is also at
http://www.openoffice.org/license.html.
So feel free to install it on your laptop as well.
WARNING: The above statement is based upon one assumption: the CD
you bought from eBay contains the OpenOffice.org office suite with no
modifications made.
