Finally, after many months, I got an answer from someone in OOo. If, the
first of many times I tried to contact VD I had deserved an answer (it was,
at least, a matter of politeness), many lost time could have been avoided..
Any way, when trying now the Portuguese site, for downloading the Portuguese
version I got on screen the Error information that is attached.
If I have understood your information, there is still an error when trying
to download OOo 1.1.3 in Portuguese.

pt.openoffice.org icon. Then look for a Portuguese language pack.
Since in another email you indicated you were using OOo version 2.0,
you might be able to download a newer version of OOo in Portuguese
including the Help files.
