and thank you both for replying to my email. I do not know what caused
my problems, but after installing Windows Updates and restarting the
computer I installed the OO 2.2 and every thing seemed to go right. The
computer has 4 user accounts and when opening my usual account the
problem appeared.
If I started e.g. AdobeReader OO 2.2 tried to open the Adobe Application
- which explains why the "ASCII Filter Option" dialogue appeared. And
trying opening other application or documents OO 2.2 was allocated to
try opening these files.
What I have done is uninstalling OO 2.2 and deleting the account. After
that I made a new account, reinstalled the OO 2.2, and since then I have
not encountered any problems in using the OO 2.2 nor other application
on my computer.
