In Open Office, I'm trying to create a query using Design View (thought I've tried other views as well) that has, as part of the criteria, a "is null" statement ... e.g. "Select * from BlahTable where BlahDate is null" .... if I try entering a criterion of "Null for that column, it changes "Null" to "empty" but does not produce the correct result ... if I enter anything else in that column, it says "not a valid date format" .... BTW, I'm using ODBC to connect to a Microsoft SQL Server database ....
any help would be appreciated ... I'm struggled to make the transition to Open Office ...
