What you are looking for is an equivalent to Intuit?
Which one? QuickBooks, Quicken or TurboTax?

Do a little "googling" and you will find several SMB applications for
linux....

Alternatively, if you can stay with the version you have and your
business is not very large, build a Virtual Machine with XP on it and
run it from inside of Linux....
(you won a licensed copy of XP obviously...) This solution probably wont
work for you because it sounds like you are a little larger than a
single proprietorship.

BTW - Modern Linux/Unix is not so much about command line anymore.....

If you are planning on switching over to Linux - the tried and true way
is to:

Switch your file/print servers......

migrate your desktops......
