Is the cell set for "Currency" or "Number"? Format|Cells|Number

"To get it to not show $0.00 the easiest way that I can recommend is get
rid of the currency formating altogether. Unless you are dealing with
mixed currencies just use number formating."
                          ^^^^^^

When I enter something in the Format code
field, the Category field automatically changes to User-defined,
unless I enter a format that already is pre-defined, which it is in
this case, so in the last
example, it
is automatically switched to currency. In the number format example, I think it
automatically switched to User-defined. If I first enter something in
the Format code field and then
select something else in the Category field, the Format code field
changes immediately to what's
selected in the Category field and in the
Format field, so there is no option there really. What happens
happens, kind of.

About: *"Tools â†' Options… â†' OpenOffice.org Calc â†' View â†' Display
â†' Zero Values":*
Wow… something happened to my nice right arrows! They turned into *"â†'"*and
my "..." character turned into *"…"*. This usually happen when the
receiver, in this case [EMAIL PROTECTED], doesn't use UTF-8. Is that right,
glgxg? Is it ISO 8859-1? Or maybe WIndows 1252? Glgxg is a funny name by the
way... I thought almost everyone used UTF-8 today, sorry for the
inconvenience, but I will probably continue using it, until something new
and better shows up...
