Let's see. Outlook Express comes with Windows whether MS Office
is installed or not. So, is OE really part of an office suite? You
can purchase Outlook without MS Office, so the same question applies.
(Just something to think about.)
There are many choices for an email client to be used with
OpenOffice.org. You can continue to use OE or Outlook if you have
them and want to do so. You do not have to stop using them.
The Mozilla project have two programs for email: Thunderbird, and
Seamonkey. Both are available at www.mozilla.org. Endora is used by
many, and there are still others available.
