You seem to know a lot about Calc. I am unable to open Calc -
OpenOffice defaults to Writer. How do I get it to open Calc?

No worries on the help, but I'm absolutely no good with German. I'm
including the list in the hope that there is someone that can
converse in German with you to further your issue.
I've attached a screen shot of the border selection that I'm
referring to. Don't be put off, as the screen shot may look a
little different than your version (I'm using Ubuntu version with
various themes applied) but I hope that you get the idea.
In addition, format > cells will bring up the dialog box.. You need
to look for the 'borders' tab to select the type of border that
your after.
