This problem is not in OOo but in Windows - in Windows, each file extension is associated with a program that will open that type of file, even though it may not be the only program that will handle that type. The quick action (not really a fix) is to right click on the directory entry and choose "open with..", then pick what you want. This process overrides the normal file/program associations. I think there is a checkbox in the selection panel to make whichever program you choose there the default. --Phil
